Hi guys, the good old typical wheel fitment question here.
I have a stock body s13 coupe, 5 stud converted with adjustable coilovers.
Now I can roll my fenders a bit to fit..... hammer in the inside walls... move the wiring harness or whatever, but don't really want to be pulling the fenders right out and having to respray. Nor do I want to run camber. No widebody kits either.
I have two options. Both the wheels are work emotion kiwamis.
First is much more preferable because I can get these wheels pretty cheap secondhand with the tyres and everything. Id rather not have to trade a limb and pay thousands more for these wheels new if I dont have to and they still dont have tyres. But if the secondhand ones wont fit there is no point in my buying them. I cant try them on they are in different state.
1) 18 x 9.5 +12
front tyres 215
rear tyres 225
2) buy them new, can get any size really but i thought that the size below would fit best? I just think 17's would be easier to fit.
17 x 9 +17
probably buy 215/40/17 tyres
if you guys have any other better suggestions for sizing please let me know as I can get most sizes new. I do like staggered sets too.
I don't want to the 17 on the front 18 on the back thing though.
The main question of the day is if I can get option 1 to fit my car or not. Or what sizes should i get new that will get me the best fitment, nice and snug but clearing everything.
Thanks everyone, I appreciate any help.
