i just upgraded to 5 lug with some z32 (26mm) brakes and wanted to throw on some z32 na wheels i had. when i tried to put the fronts on the tire hit the just barley shock body which are some kyb's. my problem is im worried about running spacers because ill be tracking this car and i hear its dangerous to not be hub centric. i want to retain the oem look what nissan/infinity wheels will fit up front that are cheap / what am i doing wrong.

If your going for the oem look then i would say your only bet would be spacers, i really cant see how there dangerous for track either.

well for it to not be dangerous i have to fork out 70 bucks for extended wheel studs and some better lugs too. all the extra load on the lugs and studs rather than the hub is why i was saying its dangerous....will s14 se wheels fit without issues?

run a small spacer and stop being cheap. if you're really concerned about mods to your car being a risk to your life, then i don't think this is the hobby for you. get some quality studs and lugs and you will be fine.

they're an inch thinner and have a 40mm offset as opposed to the na z32's 45mm offset. that's all that i will tell you.

so you're willing to shell out a few hundred dollars on z33 wheels and tires, but not 70 bucks on spacers, studs, and lugs? i'm confused.

quoted from spl web site "Without hub-centering wheels, the wheel studs will see additional tensile stress, which can lead to failure under high loads. "id rather make a larger investment now then pay for some problems later.

you changed the quote. that quote applied to hub centering rings used in conjunction with aftermarket wheels with a larger bore than the stock hub. you will be perfectly fine with a spacer, along with quality studs and lugs.

yes the quote is change but it def applies in this application. ive had enough bickering tho i dont feel comfortable using wheel spacers. all i wanted to know were some nissan/infinity wheels that would work with my setup. (without spacers)

s14 se's should fit fine. it's weird that you're having problems with the z32's though.
