hi im planning on buying an s13 hatch in the near future and i noticed that 5zigens discontinuing their fn01r-cs which i love and i wanted to get for my s13 so i want to try to get them now so i can get the proper fitting before they get hard to find.

1. 4 lug vs 5 lug - so first off im looking for a the concave bowed in spoke look, and from a little bit of research it seems like no matter what width/offset combination you have the 4 lug fn01's do not give u concave...is this true??

2. lug conversions - ive read that 5 lug conversions are possible for the s13, is this fairly easy?

3. offsets - assuming i go with the 5 lugs im thinking im going to want a 17x8 and 17x9 rear...

...with those sizes theres +25, +35 and +43 offsets for the 17x8 and +15, +35 and +43 for the 17x9 which would you suggest for my s13??

im lookin for an aggressive offset that will give me a good concave but not sticking out too far and past the fenders because the s13 is going to be stock bodied, no body kit or wider fenders etc but i am willing to roll the s*** out of the fenders and give it some negative camber to accomodate...

No four lug FN's, even the 17x9 +20 ones, will give you concave. None of the sizes you gave are concave either. For five lug, the 17x10 +25 is really the only 17 inch FN's that show NOTICEABLE concave face. The 17x9 +15 one only concaves slightly.

5 lug swaps have been around since I was born. All you've gotta do is search.

No problem. Some food for thought though, here are my *ahem* ideal sizes for an S13 with FN's.

17x9 +15 front18x9.5 +12 rear

5 lug, of course.

hmm, your sizing sounds really good staggered and low offset. i assume i'll roll and pull the fenders a bit for that? also what would you suggest if id go 18 all around with the 8.5s in the front

edit**

i just realized the 18x8.5 doesnt come in an offset lower than 30

Then it'll look like a typical NICO car.

Trust me on the setup I initially gave you. You won't regret it.

yeah basically from what i can tell on the 5zigen website the setup you gave me uses the lowest offsets im gonna get while keeping the widths proportional, looks like i should get some good concave front and back, i think you found my fitment!!! now where to find a good 5zigen dealer... hahah

also i dont have the 240sx yet, i wonder if these will fit on my fd...

The best 5zigen sizes are the 17x10 +12 they look awesome and are concaved like a white jamaican hippy.

Also buy the ichiba hubs for s13 i can get them to you for failry cheap. They bolt on but youll want to put oem bearings in them after about 6 months or so.

yeah i just seen pics of a s14 with 17x10 +12s all around and it looked STUPID(as in the cool stupid)...i would be able to fit them on the rear of a s13 but would probably have to do the 17 x 9 +15s on the front

also what are the hubs for

The hubs are for converting the car from a 4-lug to 5-lug. You can use rear hubs from a non-turbo 300zx also.

Read more about S13 fitments because there are other concave wheels out there also.
