The entire assembly, just yanked one from the junkyard. it turns out that fuel was leaking back there and made the wire extremely brittle. Like twigs almost. Thats why they broke the way they did.

I have a stock KA24DE. Would a Walbro 190lph work without a Nismo FPR? I always thought the 190lph is a stock replacement for KA's. Thanks and great write up.

I put a Walbro on mine and didn't upgrade the fuel pressure regulator so you will be fine.

this doesn't really apply to anything, but these pumps are around $110 IIRC, which is probably the same amount as a stock one from the auto parts store. so i'd recommend this to ANYONE who's old fuel pump has gone out and needs a new one. its a great upgrade and is still fairly cheap.

Do you know if the pump has ever been replaced because if not you might want to give it a try considering how old these cars are and the price you can get one at. Although replacing a old OEM pump with another used OEM pump that is probably around the same age is a risk too.

I didn't see any distinguishing things on my Walbro like a logo or something.

I just installed a Walbro fuel pump and I don't hear it prime when I turn the key to the on position. I took out the fuel pump and connected to a battery to see if it worked and it did. Do you think I have bad wire somewhere?

Most parts for our cars have to be ordered due to how old the car is. Should only take a day or two.
