Uppdate 7/11/2009

so I bypassed the relays and got the car and fuel pump to fire up. However after some extensive tests of the relays, they are working as they should (I pulled the cover off and manuallly tested them).

The continuity of the wire going from the relay to the ECU was check and checked out

Everything is getting voltage as it should

So I am left to conclude that the ECU is not telling the fuelpump to cut on or off.

I am still running my Calum ECU, and to make sure there is nothing ECU I am going to run my stock one tommrrow to see if it comes on.

Is there something I need to check again. I have been using the FAQ threads and factory service manual. I couldnt find anything to specifically trouble shoot the ECU

Thanks again guys

I swapped a walbro in my s14 and it was working perfect until it began stumbling and cutting out one day. Then it got better(still stumbled a bit) but I noticed the strainer fell off the pump. So I put the strainer back on and the car bogged and stumbled really bad at moderate load/rpms. So I threw the stock pump back in and it ran normal again.

I think my walbro is defective, so I got another for 80 shipped..hopefully this one will work for more than 2 weeks. I've heard others having problems with these pumps as well so you might just have a defective pump.

I heard that if you take it back to walbro they will cut it open and check the internals, if it's a defective pump then they'll replace it...but if the issue is outside of their control like contamination or wrong installation then they charge you 40 bucks.

did you do an electric fan conversion and used the fuel pump relay to run the fan?

What happens if you use the relay for fan?
