I've seen a few pics some-where on these boards of S13's that aren't Silvia conversions....have the same body style, but where the pop-up lights are there is just clear plastic. So the light i would assume just shines through, similar to a 300zx. Is this a kit you can buy. If it is please post a link or approximate price.

Pics are always good too. If you have them.

Eastbear. I don't know their website (might be http://www.eastbear.com?)

Either way, once you drive with this headlight conversion, you'll never want to drive at night again (the lighting is horrible).

There are some people that have done the 300zx light conversion. The only one I remember was widebody.... and once again, he was full of s***! But he had some pictures on the old boards that looked pretty nice. Thankfully it wasn't actually his car! It's expensive though... the headlights are close to a $1000 I think, then you need to do some serious jerry rigging and body work to make them fit right.

http://www.jspec.com has the eastbear headlights, I think they're $600 shipped. They're not street legal though.

I was just about to post a thread about this, you beat me to it. But a friend of mine and I are planning a little custom headlight setup, we intend to design a kit for the 240. Right now we plan on doing a setup that looks like the 300zx lights (a clear piece over the opening to keep the body lines flowing) with some very decent lighting behind it. The kit will be an entirely bolt on affair and we hope to sell it for right around $300 with everything you need- im even looking into getting some OEM wire plugs so that it would plug right in. I guess i just need to know how many people here would be interested in a kit like this, or possibly another style like the east bear ones? The only problem with the east bear is that its hard to get decent light out of a lens that small unless you get some projecters, which would obviously raise the price- but I think the 300z style looks better anyway. So let me know who wants a set :)

Now that's what i was talkin about. I think that those would look tight w/the 2 projector style lights inside. But they still look good w/just the reg. headlamps in there. 1Dollar I would be very interested......but not for a good year or so ;*(.

P.S. Nis240 is that your car? or just pics u have?

Well, our kit probably wouldnt be ready for at least another couple months, Its going to start as a custom project on my s13, then we will see how feasible it will be to start selling the conversion kit. It may take longer as i am a bit of a perfectionist myself and wouldnt want to sell anything that will look like crap.

No those are pics from the old board that Widebodysx put up, he said the car was his but I dunno for sure, but I think he wrecked and he said he bought one of the newest generation Supras.

And I would be interested in those headlights too if you think you can make them that cheap.

Ill tell ya what would make some $$$$ if someone made a set of projector headlights for 95-96.( due to the yellowing problem) i think that would be bad ***.

Hey dude... try using some fingernail polish remover (with acitone) on a cloth, and wipe off your headlighs. It works VERY well! Mine were really yellow and the second I ran the cloth over them the difference was like night and day. It will pull all of the build-up off the lenses making them like new. BIG DIFFERENCE!!

if you can make something like these. what price would they be?if they are true quality we may be interested in carrying them at our store. either way keep me updated. okay so it won't let me attach the picture since it is on another thread. so you may want to check out this thread.the ones i would be interested in are on the 2nd page of the thread....yellow car, round covered lights, black housing.

Wow, thats a lot of interested people. SpeedDrift, i like those- two round lights per side with the black housing and covered with lexan or something similar. Like I said though- it will be at least a couple months before we are ready to start producing them. So anyone who is interested just keep an eye on the board. I'll put up a post when we are ready to sell. Thanks for your interest.
