well i payed $900 for it from my uncle who owns a salvage yard, also the car is in good condition. I dont think anyone would argue for a price like that on 240sx.

it all depends on your prefrence man. personally i had a S13 and was in love with it. I bought a S14 recently and i still think about my S13 alot. I have days when i look at my new car and tell myself i love the thing so much, and then other days where i look at the S14 and say to myself "damn man, i should have waited till another s13 passes me by" it honestly dependes on what you like... are you into the more "older sport" look then go with the s13 or are you a more "i rather be in a more up to date looking car" that looses the "sport" look. I have my days where i love the s14, and then others where i miss the aero sport look.. alsos my mother likes the s14 step father likes the s13 and my real father likes my s14.... but then again all my lil brothers like the s13 better

I got a S14 automatic. I also drive my dads stickshift turbo Saab. Somedays I like the manual and msot days I don;t. I like the automatic becasue where I live there is too much traffic and 5 spds and traffic don;t go together. I barely ever go on the highway. I would have loved to have had a 5spd 240, but I couldn't pass up a black S14, black leather and all teh SE works.. It really doesn;t bother me its an automatic.

If the car is in great condition, why not just swap the transmission? Or swap the motor and transmission?

lets say you sell your $1k carbuy a $8000 car

why dont you just spend 7K on the existing car? 7K goes a loooong way.

S13 Coupe, all the way. It gives off that awesome retro 80's vibe with the flip up lights. I got mine a few weeks ago and have to restrain myself from writing my car love letters. It drives beautifully, and gets looks everywhere it goes!

s14s rock :)

seriously though, you want modern amenities go with s14, you want a slightly less tame beast you go with s13. You'll be happy either way, but I love my car just the way it is.

i love my S14, every day i walk out to get in my car, and just looking at that wide sexy *** it has, reminds me it was worth it.

personally i like the look of a nice clean charcoal straight bodied S13 than the S14. The S13 is definietely more sporty and i would rather own one of those than my car if possible, but i have mine now so oh well! besides its very hard to find a good condition 1993 5spd charcoal SE hatch which is the only S13 i would drive!

get a s14 if possible ,because..

it's hard to find a s13 in good shape!

i raced with my friend's s13 with exhaust while i didn't have anything in my s14....s14 won

but yea..s14 looks more sporty :p

haha i think the exact opposite of both of you guys. The S14 i think is way more common than S13 AND the S13 looks sportier. Maybe i should trade an S13 boy?? :-)

If i were going to buy another 240sx i'd get the S13 again. However after driving an S14 i can say that even though the suspension seems softer, the car does handle better than the S13 at the limit. The S14 lets you know you better slow your roll, where as the S13 doesn't tell you you've gone to far until you're *** out towards the ditch.

Well the s13 you raced had something wrong with it or he sucked at driving...Same motor in a lighter car, s13's are faster unless they have a s*** load of miles on them. As for my opinion on looks, I'd go for the s14, they make better drift cars anyway, any thing the japanese prefer, I figure is better, haha.

My vote goes for the S14. I love the body style, and the feel when driving. Also, I've seen only seen like a couple S14's, when compared to lots of s13's I see In my area.

i would say s13 is more common, more were made. I liek the look of my s13 hatch as opposed to a 95-96 s14, but I would rather have a s14a than my car any day.

my next car will be like jspec tuners, except it will be a 1989. it'll be black, and a coupe. that way i can say i have the first and last 240sx coupes built and they would look hot side by side on my driveway

except the one that really matters.. vlsd.. haha im just kidding man, i'd so pick a leather interior over vlsd.. besides now I have a reason to get something better than vlsd.. like the s15 lsd to replace the open diff. I read articles online and they say the best improvement in the s15 vs the s14 is the lsd so i'm having second thoughts about a vlsd.. im searching for a s15 lsd

I think the S15 H-LSD is really hard to install on an S14... I could be wrong but i think the S15 LSD has some sensors in it, and the shafts are different.
