The only complaint I have is the lack of strength in chassis design, that design just doesn't hold up well under high "G" turns (I can feel the car twist) even with all the bracing, tower bars, etc. Time for a Roll Cage I guess.
LOL
First of all...S chassis cars have CRAPPY front suspension, and their only real saving grace is the fact that they are light. There was no "advanced" suspension technology in any s-chassis car, ever. It's a standard Mac Strut setup, and like most all other Mac Strut setups, it sucks. Struts suffer from terrible roll center migration characteristics and crappy camber curves. Just about the only way to be fast with MacPhereson struts is to have huge roll bars and high spring rates to prevent roll, and then jack up your static camber to something ridiculous.
Second of all...if you can feel your chassis twisting around you, you probably better buy another shell. Chassis torsion is on the order of 1-5 degrees of twist, and I doubt that is within any human range of perception. A sloppy chassis leads to a car that feels floaty or disconnected during transient maneuvers (turn in and turn out), not a car that feels like its pretzelling itself around the driver.
