S13 Vs S14

K i'm not trying to start a flame war here i love both chasis cars , as far as all my readings a S14 is about the same weight as a S13 stock for stock, or pretty dang close..

alot of S14 owners i see are claiming from what i seen faster times then i've seen S13's run stock, i personally have never been beat by a S14 or seen them run faster then me at the track, but that is a biased opinion, i like both chasis i'd just like to hear some times of what both owners are running stock for stock, or with what mods.

personally, road and track posted a 16.3 at i forgot the trapspeed, but that was with a new 93 240sx hatch back in 93..

i've ran my car 4 or 5 times a 93 240sx SE full interior, on 87 octane no doubt, with cheap 195/60s NO lsd and over 150,000 miles on the car, stock, ran flat 16's at 84 to 85mph with 2.3 60ft times .580 r/t 10.3 in the 1/8th

now i have a lower milage ka now and added a VLSD from a super hicas model haven't ran it yet, but i think i had some really good runs and close to maxin out what the car is capable stock with full interior and all, i belive maybe high high 15's with a stock 240 with better driving, but i mean i think if u look at my times and stuff my driving was pretty damn descent

my thing is how in the **** is a automatic S14 hitting high 15s with a intake and exhaust, i just don't buy it.. Not directing that to anyone but i've just seem some crazy claims sometimes on nissan forums in general... let me hear some feedback i'm not trying to argue this ****, but i'd like to have a civalized convo and hear some times, 60fts, 1/8th's, trapsspeeds...

i mean i've heard people claiming low 15's in there S13's stock WTF seems like alot of people BS'ing about what there car is running

S14's are typically about 100 lbs heavier than a similarly equipped S13. When I had an S13, I ran a 15.7 consistently with a best of 15.5. My S14 ran a 16.1 before the turbo. It might have been a little bit quicker had I been on better tires. Unfortunately, I haven't been back to the drag races since. But I did see an S14 run the day I ran mine that pulled off a 15.1 with only an exhaust and filter.

what mods did you have on your S13? year/trim/model?

what kind of times where u posting for 60ft, 1/8th and trap speed as well? 15.1 with just a exhaust and filter? was that with a SR20DET?? that must have been one hell of a exhaust and filter to lose almost a full second off the 1/4 if it was a KA...

i dunno i need to run with my new motor i guess, i just can't imagine someone running a 15.5 in a STOCK 91 to 93 240sx with no kinda mods not even weight reduction.. i'd like to see the 60fts and trap speeds
