I was wondering if there was any differences between the size/dimensions of an s13 and an s14 engine bay. I'm looking at doin a motor swap and curious as to how much more room(if any) one has over the other.

what motor are you considering? Any motor that will swap into a s14 can be swapped into a s13 and vise-versa.

both of those swaps have been done before so why are you wondering about the size of the engine bays? both swaps fit in both cars.

I guess my question was a little too broad. The reason why I'm asking is room for external mods on the engine. Specifically larger turbo. I'm also planning on doing the s15 front conversion which I believe will basically make them the same. I was just tryin to get more facts before i sank money into my project.

still too broad.Just do your swap and enjoy it. If anything doesn't fit... make it fit.

s15 fronts don't make s13/s14's look better.......... save that money for big brakes, or nice wheels

might not make them look better, but that might be the way he wants to go.

a 2jz and any rb will fit in either the s13/s14. The engine compartments are actually pretty big on these cars for bigger turbos and stuff, you just have to watch out for the brake master cylinder with the nissan motors since the exhaust is on the left side...2jz's will have a turbo on the pass side so that should be easier? idk bout that

but anything can be done and the engine compartments have enough room for bolt on mods if done right. I ran into a lot of clearance issues with my top mount t3/t4 on my ka but you just gotta improvise. I had to relocate one of my brake lines and relocated my power steering reservoir just so the turbo could clear.
