s13 VLSD into s14

i searched all over (but my searches are always funky sometimes it even says i need to login when i am loged in*shrug)

I have a friend who found an s13 VLSD. I have a 98 240 SE (non-abs non-vlsd) and we are wondering if its going to fit. we think it will we just gotta use the s14 rear cover but we arnt sure. any idea's before he picks it up?

If you use the S13 pumpkin on a S14 you will have to change the backplate ( make sure you reseeal and let it dry ) and you will have to use lock washers . The mounting holes on the front of the pumpkin are smaller on the S13's than on the S14. I have ran my VLSD this way for a little over a year with no issues .

yeah he has the whole diff housing and everything so just use my s14 rear cover and get some lock washers? easy enough
