Very nice. I'd love to see more pictures. Do you have any pictures from the build going on. Like the manifolds you put together and the intake. What mounts you used/designed, etc.

Differently going to be watching this one!

Ok. The plenum- the spider inlet manifold has 4 long runners and 4 short runners. We grabbed a second set of short runners and discovered that if you used 8 short runners and make an ally adapter plates to suit the offset holes, you end up with 2 parallel banks of runners. This makes making a plenum to suit a lot easier. Inside the plenum there is flutes for each runner and a spine down the center for strength and to split air flow to each runner. The height also allows a stock bonnet to fit. It has a fast 92mm Ls1 throttle body mounted upside down. The injector spacing is also maintained to be able to mod you standard fuel rails to suit. It has 850cc sard injectors.

A custom throttle cable is hidden (throttle body mounted usd) under the plenum and fittings for ecu, booster vacuum and fuel pressure regulator at rear.

You may also notice that the cooling system is hidden, the y branch from the cylinder heads cab be reversed so it point backward. The water pump and thermostat housing and filler neck where removed and a new hose end housing was made to replace the original filler neck/ thermostat housing. This was done to be able to run a boot/trunk mounted radiator and hide the alloy tubes under the plenum that continue in 32mm OD ally tubes under the car to feed a au ford falcon cooling system. There is a Davies Craig electric water pump to splash the water around. There is also a -4 weld on, on the y branch that has a air lock bleeder and tees off to the filler tank in the boot to allow unwanted air in the cooling system to be relieved through the rad cap.
The exhaust manifolds where fabricated with Lazar cut flange plates mild steel tubes and coated with ceramic. The 2 bolt flanges are going to be changed to v bands to cope with the heat movement. The cross over pipe is in stainless 2.5 inch and has a neat mounting bracket that marries up with the timing chain cover where the original A/c idler pulley ( i think) would have bolted to. This Takes the weight if the turbo and also stops the exhaust manifold from walking to much. Where the 2 x 2.5 in cross over pipes merge there is a 44mm Teil gate which feed the screamer that runs out the right hand side of the front bumper. :rotflmao .

The turbo is a Garret T04z with a 115 rear housing it has a 3.5 inch stainless dump which sneaks past a ca18 power steer pump on custom bracket, the oil filter relocation plumbing and the chassis rail then opens to 4 inch and flow through a magna flow muffler at the rear.

will post more detailed pic soon.

Pictures of the intake adapters? Can you get another set machined it would make it a whole lot easier if the lower plenum was facing correctly. Thanks!

Grab 2 x inlet manifold gaskets and tape them together so that there are 4 holes around each inlet port. take this to a machine shop and ask them to make 2 x plates 8mm thick, match the ports but only drill or cut the bolt holes smaller than the bolts required to fix the manifold to the heads. when you have a second set of runners dummy them up on your heads and you will see what holes can be drilled and what holes will require tapping. Will also need to take off a few small castings on the heads to make it fit. and theplate will have to be shaped is some areas

Thanks so you didnt have them made from a cad file? I was hoping you had a CAD file because local machine shops are pretty useless and the ones that arent want to charge $$$ for any halfway decent work.
