s13 vg30de help/ideas

i have an 89 240sx got it super cheap with a vg30de quad cam 3.0l in it...looks like the seals might be bad... really dont like how its mounted and the shifter sits back further than normal... does anyone know if they have aftermarket motor mounts for this motor in the s13 ive searched everywhere with no luck. ive debated swapping motors... or simply pulling the motor and clean it up a bit ...and dropping it back in if i can find a way to mount it better...idk what to do with it... ideas?
need help finding out how other people have mounted the vg motor in the s13 chasis without having the shifter wayy back...right now its sitting on the stock s13 motor mounts and crammed way to the back of the engine bay and it sucks lol

with that engine, you want it as far back as possible. the vg is a heavy beast of an engine and sitting it farther back will help with the weight ratios. moving it forward makes no sense performance wise. on another note, you might wanna take youre time making sure everything is done accordingly. if i were you id pull the motor just because it makes it easier to work on and you can find little details that may eventually make the swap better...
