S13 VCT blacktop issue!

hey so I'm having a weird issue with my S13

bought the car with a S2 S14 blacktop installed
ran and has been fine for over a year now, then a few months
back id be driving for about 30-40 mins depending on how hot
the day was, and it would just shut off. no coughing or spluttering
just shut off, like something was telling the ecu to cut power.
when it shuts its goes straight to reds everything still works and it still
turns over fine just won't start, seems like you cool it down for 10 15 and
it'll start back up and drive for 5 10 mins then die again?

I've changed CAS, IGN, CTS I'm about to try another ecu tomorrow
any ideas?

Might be useful to have a Nissan Data Scan log while its dying. If it doesn't sound like a mechanical stall. more of a electronic short. id be checking wires.
If your saying it depends on heat. Coolant temp might be an issue. or a busted hose from engine temp? honestly i have no idea ha! i hope the problem is found from one VCT backtop owner to another!
