so I'm looking at building my own turbo kit, and the only decent Model specific piping kit I can find is only for the S13. Would this fit on my S14 without many issues? I want a top mount T3, Every other kit is for running a bottom mount T28, and I would get tired of that quickly.

Any help on this? I assume it would work as I have seen Blacktop SR's in S13s, and the old Redtops in S14s? Does my logic make some sort of sense?

What pipes are you talking about?

I'm going to assume he means the hot and cold charge pipes because he wants to run a top mount T3. However, I don't have a good answer, but I'd like to think they'd work... ::shrug:: Beats me.

yeah I'm thinking the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler, and from the intercooler to the manifold. I assume the pipe off the wastegate side to the exhaust should fit normally, or close to.

iirc it won't fit perfectly.

You'll have all these weird fitment issues on the cold pipe where it connects to the throttle body. You might get away with shaving a few parts of the piping though

same goes with the piping that's intended for the ka FMIC kits vs. sr FMIC kits. its all in the fitment due to the angle of the throttle body and how low the hood is

okay, sounds good. I'll start looking for S14 piping. I want this all done myself because I hate taking my car into a shop. I have seen piping done locally, it fits well, the welds are good, but the piping itself always looks old. MaybeI should piece together a kit. It will be cheaper I'm sure. Once I find this piping I should be set.
