S13 Transmission

Hey, I was wondering what kind of power the stock S13 Automatic transmission can take. I am thinking about doing the KA-T and want to upgrade my stall converter if the transmission if worth keeping. I have heard some things about it being a Skyline transmission, but I've searched and found nothing about it. Any help would be great.

i'm not sure on the auto, but the 5 speed is cable of 400hp. while i'm not sure about the skyline, but i believe some probably has the same gearing as the s13 since some of the skylines motor uses the same final gear as the s13 but just have a different housing.
