I'd thought I'd share a little information to other fellow Nissan owner that might wanna do a Automatic transmission (AT), to Manual transmission (MT) swap on a S13 body. Here's a brief list of what you need and what I've learned while doing my own research and during the process of working on my :

#1 Thing you should have (OWNER'S MANUAL) it helps. Parts: * 5 speed transmission * 5 speed transmission crossmember * 5 speed front half shaft * 5 Speed Transmission Adapter Plate/Dust Cover * Flywheel * Clutch and pressure plate * Clutch master cylinder * Clutch slave cylinder * Clutch pedal Assembly * Brake pedal (Optional)READ ON * Clutch hard line * Shift boot * Lower rubber shift boot & metal ring clip * Shift boot with plastic bezel & knob * Manual ECU (Optional)READ ON * Manual Transmission Flywheel Bolts (RECOMMEND New) * Throwout bearing * Rear drive shaft seal * Crank shaft oil seal There a are gonna be some miscellanies parts that you might need if they didn't come with the transmission you bough, not already on your car or you just don't have already:

* Any bolts, washers or nuts missing, need or don't have: - Slave cylinder bolts x2 - Master cylinder bolts x2 - Starter bolts x2 - Transmission/Engine/Bellhousing bolts x9, washers x5, nuts x3 * Withdrawal lever & Retainer spring * Release sleeve & Holder spring * Shifter plate gasket

Fluids

* 2.4 Liters of 80W90 Gear Oil (or MT90 Redline Fluid) *1 * DOT3 Brake Fluid * Lubrication for pivot points on the transmission/clutch components Electrical

* Speed sensor (Uses the same wire harness) * Reverse light sensor (Wire directly)

Note: Those are the only two sensors you will need to use, the others will only cause restrictions.

Torque Specifications

* Flywheel 105 ft/lbs (Crisscross pattern) * Pressure plate 16-22 ft/lbs (Unless noted otherwise on clutch/pressure plate package, Torque in crisscross pattern) * Drive shaft 25-33 ft/lbs * Carrier bearing 24-26ft/lbs * Slave cylinder 22-30ft/lbs * Filler plug 18-25 ft/lbs * Transmission to block (Owner's Manual) ECU: Using the (AT) or (MT) - You can choose to switch to the (MT)ECU or just use the (AT)ECU. The difference from the (AT) and the (MT) - with the (AT) you can drive over 120 mph, it has a leaner fuel map than the (MT), and no rev limiter.

Buying a new brake peddle is (optional), but your gonna have to modify the original brake peddle already in the car. You cut the side of the peddle down to make it the size of the (MT) S13 peddle (57 inches in length), and to make clearance for the clutch peddle.

There are also some mortification's your gonna have make to the car for some of the manual transmission components. If you look at the clutch master cylinder, you will notice it has a big rubber cylinder a couple inches in length on it, also the 2 wholes for the bolts that holds the on the cylinder. Wholes will needs to be cut through the firewall on the far driver side to be able to install the master cylinder.

If you wanna save yourself a little bit of money, my recommendation would be to buy any of the parts you would feel safe to buy from a Nissan recycle yard. The only parts that I bought brand new was most of the shifter components, throw out bear and gaskets/seals. If needed the clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel should be new or in good shape with a lot of meat on them. Other than that I pieced together mine and ended up saving hundreds of dollars. Have fun
