I'm putting together a s13 transmission to swap out my AT trans to a MT. I need a (stock) shifter to complete everything. If anyone can help me find one it would be much appreciated, thx.

If you need the entire shifter and base, I may have it. It will take me a bit as I need to move some stuff around.I do know that I have a cheap EBay short shifter, stock knob in good shape for it's age, and the secondary rubber boot with metal ring. The one that bolts onto the transmission tunnel inside the car.All you would need would be the shifter bushing and the primary boot.Make me an offer and I will throw all that into a shoe box and ship it out.

ha haaa!

I found it. As it turns out, I have a shifter bushing but do not have the metal ring that bolts the rubber boot down to the chassis.Make me an offer that will cover shipping and a bacon cheeseburger with curly fries combo from Carl's Jr. and it's all yours.

I appreciate the time you took to respond to my post. I had also put a post up on Craigslist at the same time for the shifter, and I got a response back with a shifter for sale. I bought the shifter but thats all he had.

What other shifting components do you have besides the shifter bushing? I might still be interested in what you have.

Lets see, in order of appearance: Complete stock shifter to include shift knob, base and small nylon bushing at the end. I have an almost new leather shift boot. This is real leather, unfortunately it is also thicker than the factory vynil boot so it will break off at least a couple of mounting clips.I have the 2 rubber boots that bolt on to the transmission tunnel via 4 bolts. I do not however have the metal ring that secures them down.I have a cheap EBay short shifter. The one piece kind that clamps down around the shifter base.Realistically if you were to buy any one thing, I would throw all the other crap in the box just to get rid of it.It would be like...like a surprise! yeah thats it.

What do you mean by the leather boot will break off the mounting clips? Are those the clips that hold the boot into the middle console?

If the boot is in good shape and you want to sell it for a decent price, I would like to get that from you. I think I'm gonna buy a brand new lower rubber shift boot.

If you have seen or are familiar with the way the stock boot wraps around the metal base ring and screws onto the plastic radio cover/bezel; well the leather is easily twice as thick as the vinyl used for the stock boot. Considering the age and heat in the transmission tunnel, the plastic clips are kind of brittle. I broke 2 of the clips on mine.It did not affect the appearance as the bezel pushes the base of the boot down.Hell. send me an envelope with a couple of stamps and it's yours.Unless I send you the magic mystery box with the shift boot and all the other crap previously mentioned.
