S13 transmission to S14 manual swap???

I have an auto S14 and my friend has a 91 S13 manual thats just sitting in his driveway. He said he would give his transmission to me if I were to do a auto to manual swap. So my question is, can I use his S13 transmission and everything else in my S14? I heard you can as long as its a 1991 and up, but I wasnt for sure.

Dude, use this search button. I myself have been researching and asking/answering questions about this things for months, and my conversion is still not done thanks to no clutch being here yet. But, to answer you question, yes, the transmission will work. You need to get a driveshaft from a '95 (abs or non abs, depending on your car), and alot of other parts. go to http://www.240sx.org and then installs for a writeup and list of what and how to do that swap.

Quit playing with sticks. HAHA. Make sure you replace the seals if the transmission has lots of miles. I still need to replace a seal. Nick
