s13 transmission in s14

I was wondering what I need to put a 93 s13 hicas transmission into a 98 s14? I know the basic parts but is there anything extra like any sensors or anything? Also how could you tell if the transmission has ODBII?

The connectors are different for the sensors and the speed sensor is different. An obdII transmission will have a CAS (or at least the hole and bolt hole) at the top front most edge of the flywheel.

FWIW I just slapped a s13 transmission into my obdII 96. I did not install the CAS into it, and the only sensor I currently have wired in is the speed sensor, and it runs great. This weekend I will be wiring in the reverse sensor properly, but I have no need for the other three sensors.

Now I do have an *** load of CEL's, or so I should, but I have had a CEL on this car for 6 years anyway.

If you are worried about that, then you can drill the s13 housing to accept the sensor and replace the sensor plugs to get it cel free...
