i was about to post the same question....after a fender bender, it sort of sped up the whole process of replacing my front in on my 89 to a silvia spec front end.

so the following is needed for an easy install:

front BumperFendersHood Headlightss15 core support for easy bolt ons15 silvia hood hinges

Bumper, hood, A pair of s15 lights, a pair of fenders, radiator support, They sell kits for this conversion but its costly. Maybe if you went with ebay you could find it for like 1200 , but new atleast 2grand for a quality kit. http://www.extremedimensions.c...sions

If ebays your style... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...90844

well after a nice fender bender with a mini van, i can either repair my damage for a grand, or replace with S15 conversion for 2 grand....at this point, im gonna definately do the swap at the end of july, but i want to make sure i have all the parts that I will need without having a problem......:ylsuper

well i have always been a firm believer of doing the engine before the cosmetics, but as i mentioned above, a fender bender seemed to have put the front end conversion ahead before the swap at this point. Besides, im getting a blue printed engine flown in from europe rather than the SR obvious swaps....i love to be different, and ill spend the money as long as it works.

to piggy back on this question, ive been looking at some places that offer the carbon fibre kits and the Fibre-glass kits....the carbon fibre ones are double the price, hitting me at about 1400Us without the lights.......and the fibre glass range from about 720-820 US depending on style.

Anyone that has done body kits and what not in the past could probably answer this.......is it much harder to mod a fibre-glass kit onto a car than it is a carbon fibre kit?

and secondly, the S15 lights for this conversion cost a whopping 600US for a set. That is almost as much as all of the body equipment! anyone have a hook up to purchas these lights somewhere else? Thanks!

I've seen the lights for $495...cheapest I've seen them for.
