If I could pull this thread out of the computer and wipe my a$$ with it, I would.

I hate it that much.

That is all.

I hear Japanese tuners give more respect to the pop up headlights than the fixed ones. So now does that make you less JDM with conversions?

ohh ohh ohh, my turn, i took my car from this

to this, with only hand tools, hahaha, beat that.

and, no it wasnt me that wrecked it, i got it like that for 600 bucks, then 500 bucks later, all the JDM S14 parts came in the mail, and i got to work, im proud of that, the body shop said it would be like 5 grand to fix it, my work is perfect, but its drivable, and looks halfway good, so ha, take that.

That's great haha, even barcodes back yard body shop job looks better than your work from a fairly straight car Ichi, and that's what I'm talking about. If you're going to make it full race, or do a front end conversion, start with something that already needs the work. I've noticed that alot of the resurrection jobs on here turn out really nice, at least the ones I have seen on this thread. I like One Love' rice to nice conversion. Great job guys, on giving a great car a new lease on life. Ichi, you should hang your head in shame.

To all those who are wondering about all of the 'hating' and flamage happening in this thread and whether or not the vehicle in question is bad enough to warrant it:

My take on it is that it has less to do with what the car looks like than the perceived attitude of the owner. From the alleged multiple topics about his car to the way he seems to come off in response to criticism, it appears that the vehicle is under more scrutiny since it (or the displaying of and/or boasting about it) is at the center of the issue. It may not be that bad, but it's the attitude that's attached to it that causes it to be crapped on. It's comparable to a female who, while being anywhere from average to good looking in all actuality, being picked apart and called all kinds of ugly/skanky/nasty because she has a miserable personality. I'm certain that if the owner, himself, were received in a more positive manner, there would hardly be any harsh or offensive criticism. The reason why I use terms like "perceived", "alleged", and "appear" is because I'm simply stating an objective observation, and I'm not trying to take one side or another.

That's just my $0.02. I'll gladly accept change back if that was too much.

My sister was standing behind me when I scrolled to that, the only thing I hear is "Oh COOL!" I turned around and beat her to a bloody pulp and then finished reading the thread.

LOL You're doing the right thing.

Hey I think Ichi Go's ride has got potential. It's headed more in the right way than in the wrong way.
