Whats up guys, I have a few questions regarding tension rods from the s13 to the s14. Heres the deal, im eventually do 5 lug conversion. So from my searching it looks like you need the S14 upright and ball joint hub and all that good stuff. Well my question is if it is are my s13 tension rods the same length as s14’s , and WILL MY S13’S BOLT UP THE THE SAME POSITION ON THE S14???The reason I ask is because my tension rod bushings are shot, so im looking to get SPL tensions, but I don’t want to spend $200 + for something that wouldn’t bolt up with the components from the s14. help is much apreciated

s14 tc rods will fit, but they are considerably longer than s13 tc rods (like 1-2in.. which is a lot).

Basically, if you dont want to max your caster, I'd suggest just getting s13 tc rods instead.

I have v.3 spl s14 tc rods in my s13, but I had to remove one locking nut to accommodate in its length. But even with the removal of the locking nut, it was still about 1/2"-1/4" longer than oem s13 tc rod length.

you don't need s14 lcas for a 5 lug conversion.

but if you do plan on using s14 lcas for whatever reason, then yes, s14 tc rods are recommended. s14 lcas are longer than s13 ones, and in turn will give you hella neg camber (will push out the wheel too)
