hey guys just registered on the site. Ive been researching and weighing the pros and cons of a few potential swaps for the S13 i bought a month ago. Ive come down to two. Either the VQ or the RB25. The idea for the build is just an all around brawler for the weekends at the drag strip or road course. Im sure the two engines weigh about the same but it looks as tho the VQ has less weight in front of the strut towers. 300hp stock is nice too but the sound of a tuned RB you cant beat and the fact you can make 500hp on stock internals is nice. Any suggestions ? I have about 5 grand to spend on the swap. Thanks

i didnt even read to get to his budget; if you gotta ask "how hard" something is to do you probably shouldn't be attempting it

Ahh.. you beat me to it...

Don't you guys just love these redundant "Which engine" threads?

Search the pros/cons & decide for yourself, OP.
