Im swapping my struts and sprigns from a 93 hatch to an 89 coupe, my coilovers on the coupe fit the hatch but i cannot get the strut mount holes to line up with the knuckle... Are they not supposed to be direct swaps?

have you done a 5 lug swap?

I know the s14 and s13 knuckles have different hole sizes. I've had to drill out the holes on the coilover when using s13 coils on my s13 with s14 knuckles from a 5 lug swap.

then when i swapped them back to a normal s13, the holes were to big and had to get now mounts.

thats impossible they dont sell s13 hatch or coupe suspension... im doing that swap 2morro so if my coils dont work ill let you guys know. As for my original post i got the problem solved i just needed to flex the knuckle down more (like sum1 had to stand on it) and no theres no 5lug. YES it is a direct swap.

They should be a direct swap. Are they knuckles just not moving far enough down to get them to line up?
