Hey guys I just wanted a second opinion since I have never seen any yellow tokico shocks and the springs looks alot like those 30$ ones on ebay. I'm probably wrong but you know you can never be too certain.

its a good set up people often do this when they want to build their own "coil overs" the 1st pic he has up is a generic pic from a site but hes using koni yellow shocks in the rears and tokicos in the front, the springs are good if hes using the ones in the pic their Eibach springs and the sleeves are Eibach Ground control sleeves so their good

LOL thats such a bad idea. Tokico fronts and Koni rear? What a horrible match.

The whole point of upgrading your suspension, is to improve handling and ride, and that means setups that are made to work together. Ive never ridden in a strut and spring combo I've liked. That means upgraded tokico, kyb struts and any drop springs.

I had cusco type zeros I got used for $200 for the last 40K miles and they were good. A little old yeah, but for $200 they do the job. Very stiff ride but good manors on track.

I traded them to my friend and I got his emotor coilovers he just got. They were 300 miles old when I got them, and he paid $460 shipped to his door new.

They ride a TONN better, and are softer over all. Great coils for daily driving and agressive street driving. Also they will go very low, or higher if that's your thing. They just aren't stiff enough for heavy track use, with sway bars they might be ok.

Basically: Its an s13. You don't need to reinvent the wheel. Just get a whole combo that's made to work together. Ebay/cheap coils have their place and they might work well for you. Also you might want to look for used name brand coils as well.
