The weight distribution is in the advantage of understeer.
I would guess that your oversteer problem is just a result of too much power, not how your suspension is setup. Maybe try laying off the throttle in the turns? A tire can only do 100% of one thing at a time. If all the traction your tire can deliver is being used for the turn, you can't give it any throttle, or you'll be over 100% and you'll lose traction. If 80% your tire's traction is being used for the turn, you can only give it 20% more with the throttle or you will oversteer.
I think you need some better tires, maybe even some wider rims, but you might be able to find some good rubber for the stock alloys.
