what im saying is can somebody check the stock wires to see what they match up to (front right...power...etc.) ???

any help is appreciated.thanks.

If memory serves me correctly brown/white & brown should be left front. Blue/white & blue/yellow should be right front. Blue & Pink should be the left rear pair, red & green should be the right rear pair.

Most stock speakers are not labled. To find the correct polarity, take your speaker in question and a battery. Place a wire from the battery's positive to one of the speaker terminals. Place a second wire from the negative on the battery to the other terminal on the speaker. When the second wire is connected the speaker will move. Direction of movement is determined by the polarity of the battery. Swapping the wires touching the speaker from one terminal to another will cause the speaker to move either out or in. When the speaker moves outward, the polarity is correct.(i.e. terminal that is connected to positive on battery is positive on speaker, reconnect speaker and take note of wire color on positive terminal.)

Red/black should be your constant power and blue should be your ignition power. Black/red is your power antenna( be sure to connect this to the blue or blue/white on your new radio.) Your illumination wire should be red/blue.

thank you.

EDIT: there's two red/blacks, two red/blue, two red/yellow, and two solid blue.there are two greens, which were you talking about? the light or dark? then where does the other one go?which ones are the bus power lead? im guessing red/yellow, but not sure.

if you ar eunsure of the proper wire colors, use a multi meter or a test light to verify constant power at the red/black.(alway has voltage, no matter what position key is in)Verify switched 12v at the solid blue. (more than one, test each unitll proper wire is found.) blue should only have voltage when key is in on, run, or accessory. No voltage when key is off. You will have to ground the new radio with directly to a piece of metal behind the dash.(make sure to get good contact, and verify proper ground with test light or multimeter.) As far as speakers, use a battey(9v works well) and "pop" the remaining wires to the battery and listen. When you hear a "pop" you know you found two speaker wires.(i.e. touch red wire and green wire to battery, the left rear speaker will "pop") If you need me to explain how to use a multimeter or test light, let me know

both red/black wires are constant power. i just checked them. both solid blues come on when the key is in at least the ACC position.the red/blues came on with key in ACC.

the constant power should connect to the memory, and the bus power lead (which both say connect directly to battery) ? should both blues connect to the one power lead from my cd player harness? should both red/blues connect to my one illumination wire from my cd player harness?

i would do trial and error, but wont that mess up the cd player?

thanks again for all the help.

Light green is your amp turn on wire. You won't have sound unless it's hooked up.

i was curious as to what the light green was for. thanks R240NA. yea, its aftermarket. i thought i said that but i guess i didnt. i think the blue and tan should be purple and pink, because i dont have the blue ( other than what i already connected) and tan. i do have purple and pink, which were wrapped together as were the other speaker pairs.

i eventually got all the power, memory, etc hooked up, after using the multi meter ( after some sense told me that the wires that are to be "connected straight to battery" should always have power, and the power one should only be when the key is in). but then my speakers didnt work. damn, i had it like you say it should be by guessing! but i didnt have the light green hooked up. guess thats my problem. and seeing as how its the amp turn on wire, ill hook it up to the amp turn on wire on my new deck.

THANKS To BOTH OF YOU!:)
