S13 STEERING WHEEL SWAP QUESTIONS

Hello there, i just replaced my old s13 OEM steering wheel with a NRG steering wheel, ive got one of those boss hub adapters to install it, my horn and the turn signal cancel doesnt work, anyone has any experience with aftermarket steering wheels? and how to make this work? any help is appreciated thank you

the info that i have found on google and other forums is not very clear about making this two things work for the s13

I just bought a s13 fastback about 2 weeks ago and they replaced the OEM steering wheel with a Grant wheel and am having the same issue.

Does it have the aftermarket hub to go with it?

Has to do with the hub you use and how it is aligned. Need to put the hub on and check the signal cancel, if not working you need to remove hub and rotate it until working.

ive got the horn to work, yes biggie you are right. i had to rotate the hub till you make a good connection and the horn works, you can check this by touching the wire that comes off the hub with the nut or the hub itself then just wire that to the horn that came with your steering wheel, ive noticed that the hub adapter i have which is one of those Boss adapter hubs dont have the little tabs that the oem wheel has, i will keep continuin working on it and see if i can make the turn signal cancel work today and let you guys know.

Im thinking about getting a quick release for the wheel, anybody has any experience making the horn work with a quick release??? does it work the same?? any extra info let me know

tnx! i had seen this thread before, i noticed you wrote this write up? very nice BTW so does the momo hub adapter makes the turn signal cancelling function operable ? cuz the adapter i have right now its the first one they show on the write up, the boss one and that makes the turn signal function to do not work.

Momo definately works the turn signal cancel (I didn't notice the other one didn't, because I swapped it after my horn would work with it).
