ok guys i have an s13 sr20det, t28 turbo, safc, wideband, greddy style intake manifold.

sometimes it will idle perfectly at 900rpms. safc reads 1.1%

sometimes its will idle at like 1400rpms steady. safc reads 1.6%

sometimes it will idle super high at like 1700 rpms. safc reads 2% or so

sometimes the idle will radomly start going up and down between 1300 or so to 2000 or so, it will do this for a little while , and then continue to idle steady at about 1700 or so....

i recently tightened all my IC pipes and whatnot.

i have a metric boost gauge what should my vacume look like? it sits at like the 500 mark or so.

the two smaller nosles on the IACV are not hooked up to anything just capped off. im not sure but i was told they were for coolant? but i have no idea if that has anything to do with my weird idle..
it all seems to be completly random..

the capped off lines are probably the coolant lines and that is probably your idle problem. the iacv needs coolant to read engine temp.

Update* unpluged tps and started it and idle shoots way up to 2200 or so
is thus normal or should it stay the same?
plugged back in then tried squessing the hose that goes to the iacv and idle goes down a little..

And I have no clue where that coolant is supposed to come from to connect to the iacv...

I got the car with a greddy style intake, I have no idea where those two coolant lines should come from bc they were never
hooked up.

I also noticed the idle will get lower and slightly more steady after running it hard.

Does this sound like an iacv issue, timing or tps...??

The coolant lines go off of the coolant bar that is under the intake mani. If you want your iacv to work properly those lines have to be hooked up. It controls the idle for different temps hence the reason it idles better after driven hard. Pm me your number and I can send you a pic of it on monday.
