I promise you your car will run 1000x better if you replace your z32 MAF with the stock MAF or a ka24e MAF! Take out your NEO as well. Your car is going to run super super rich with those uneeded parts.

I did the same exact thing you did and shortly after sold both items. If you don't believe me, then hook your upgrades up and set it the way your supposed to. Then disconect them and go stock and watch how much better your car runs. NEO=FAIL Z32=Tuned engine with many upgrades

I've been running my setup for over 16months with 50k+ miles. Really no problem. S13 sr with z32 maf at 7psi on a t25 with a safc neo tuned. Did 13.5 at the 1/4 mile. Put about 20k miles on that set up. Current set up. Z32 maf with t25 @ 12psi on the wastegate plus meth injection. Increasing the boost to 15psi. All on safc tune. That's another 30k miles with no problem.

The z32 doesn't increase hp at all. It allows the motor to pull in more air for higher than 250hp applications. So your stock MAF is fine with your STOCK motor. If you have someone dyno and tune with your apexi neo than that would be better than just trying to set it yourself. However I don't see it possible to push close to 300hp with just a z32 maf and apexi NEO. Please prove me wrong! I would love to see that happen! I'm just merely trying to save you some time and frustration. Have you not researched about the problems with the NEO and how 99% of the people wound up selling them?

Anyone who buys the SAFC or Z32 MAFS in order to gain more power does not have any idea what they are doing. Of course changing a MAFS will not improve horsepower. The main purpose of the SAFC is to convert voltage and ever so slightly modify the signal, nothing more.

I used an SAFC to flatten out some holes in my powerband after some minor engine work, it was tuned on a dyno and while not providing much if any hp gains it cleaned up the power curve. It is a piggyback signal system and definately no substitute for a standalone engine control system.

The car shouldnt run super rich with those parts, if you install an SAFC correctly it will run the exact same until you modify the fuel points.
