Im in need of a starter for a sr20det, is there a cross referrence for a starter that i can get at my local auto parts store??

As far as I know there is no USDM replacement. You can try replacing the solenoid from KA24DE or try purchasing a used starter from http://www.sr20store.com/ I found this in about 30 seconds with the SEARCH button, try it. It will be your friend
