Okay so my SR just started doin this recently. Its a Black Top S13 SR Im running just boltons. Turbo Back, Cone Filter, and fmic with greddy type s. Heres the symptoms I cant get a grip on what it might be.

- Runs Slow. Still fast but Slower.
-My Intercooler Piping the hot pipe specifically is alot hotter then normal even at night when its cool.
-Low Idle and when it was idling low it had a lope and was spewing black smoke
-It dies when I come to a stop sometimes.
-Misfires sometimes under boost
-It does this regardless of night or day

If I think of anything else its doing Ill post it up

Check for leaks and check maf. Also check the cone filter. My filter once broke where it bolts and caused my SR to run slow and sluggish on the highway, which eventually died when I stopped.

Sounds like it's leaning out and your knock sensor is attempting to save your motor...

Report back with the following info:

1. How much boost are you running?
2. What type of FPR and what's your fuel pressure?
3. What type of MAF?
4. What is your entire fuel system setup?

Im running 9lbs on the stock t25. FPR is stock. Not sure what my fuel pressure is don't have access to anything to check it? Stock SR maf. Im running stock 370cc injectors and a Walbro 255 fuel pump.

You may want to try and get an adjustable FPR, but we'll try diagnosing through some other ways. Have you checked for codes?

i would def get an adjustable FPR. also summit has an inline fuel pressure gauge for like 17 bucks. you really want to be able to adjust that pressure. that pump will wear your stock fpr out.

Sorry haven't posted in a quick minute. I found out what the problem was though. I ended up blowing off my ic piping. after I put the coupler back on Its ran perfectly fine. Im assuming it was a tiny boost leak. Regardless Problem is not there anymore though.

Clean your maf

get an adjustable fpr set it to stock pressure (i believe around 42.5 psi with the vacuum line unplugged)

If that does not help then it may be the injectors.
