S13 SR20det??????? HELP to many conflicting answers maintance

I searched and found about 3-5 different answers to all the questions. I have an 89 240SX with a 98 S13 Blacktop. Almost all stock except for a walbro 255, 3" tanabe DP, 3" tanabe catback, testpipe, and I think that is it.

1) which oil filter to use? 91 SE-R or different??? Some say the one for the 91 SE-R are to short if you don't buy from dealer I will be buying mobil 1 or K&N.

2) which NGK plugs should I use. Again I found many different answers.

3) how much oil is needed I have found answers ranging from 3.5qt-5qt so which is it?

4) will Mobil 1 0W 40 be the best selection of oil?

5) is .044 the correct plug gap?

Let me see if I can help. I have a redtop myself but here goes.

S14 SR's should use the 95 SE-R Filter. 91 SE-R filter is for S13 SR's

NGK BKR7E or BKR7ES-11 spark plugs.

Stock gap is 0.028 I believe

I have heard people running every weight of oil there is so the choice is up to you but the FSM recomends 10W-30. I run Mobil 1 15W-50

thanks for your help. That is the same plug number I had seen many times so I will go with it(just wanted to confirm it since I seen so many others listed). Are you sure on the gap? I have seen listed .028, .032, and .044

i run .028 gap but that is because i boost to 14psi on a regular basis. do not exceed .032 though.

oh yeah, oil capacity with the stock oil pan is about 3.8 qts. i'm running a greddy pan which allows me to run nearly 5 quarts.

yes that oil filter will work, im running 15w50 2.5 quarts of oil and bkr6e. plugs gapped to .028

Well it worked didnt it? Yes the replacement for S14 SR20DET oil filters are B14 Sentra SR20DE oil filters.
