Hey, i'm building a kit car and i am interested in dropping in an S13 blacktop into it. What i need to know in order to be able to drop this engine in is the length, width, height, and the length from the front of the transmission to the shifter. If someone could let me know about this i'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance for the replies.

I am just about to leave for work so I can't do it now but if you give me a day I can give you those measurements.

OK, did some measuring. From the back of the block to the front of the crank pulley is 22". From the top of the valve cover down to the bottom of the sump is 24 1/2" but that it is up near the front. Near the back where there is no sump measures 20 3/4".From the front of the transmission to the shift hole is 31 1/2". The block itself is not very wide but including the turbo and the intake it is 25 inches at it's widest. I hope this helps but it must still be difficult for you to tell if it will fit even with this info. Let me know if you want more specific measurments. It will be easy for me right now with this sitting in my garage. It's nice to hear from someone else who is thinking about putting one of these into something other than the usuall. I plan to put mine into a 69 MGB and it's going to take a lot of work. Especiallly figuring out the EFI which is all new to me. I have a question posted on this board right now asking specific questions about some of the wires I am trying get straighten out but have gotten no answer to them. I would like to get in contact with others who are doing this so we might exchange data. Good luck.
