s13 sr20det ambiant air temp sensor?

So I have researched the hell out of this and cannot find one anywhere. For every car out there that has one says it helps a/f ratios and I am using a z32 mafs sensor and 300zx's use one as well and the s13 SR harness has a spot for it. I read that someone thought it was for a/c but from what I've read no car out there uses this sensor for any a /c purpose .anyone that knows for sure let me know because I would really like to install one. My air fuel ratios are sometimes perfect and sometimes rich at idle. Maybe the next step to the z32 mafs swap? Any help finding the sensor and ill be the Guinea pig.

Anyone? I know there are some smart cats on here that would know about this. On zilvia there is an "ultimate sr20det wiring guide" that shows the spot for the ambient air temp sensor and the. Ecu pin out that shows the input for it. Please help.
