Yeah, its the red one from Jersey. Not a bad deal, I just have a short list of things that need to be fixed for inspection like headlight, new rear tires...stuff like that.

lol, where did you get that story from? 240 verts were definatly made from 92-94. The drop tops were completely put on in america. But what ever, im not going to hold it against you cause your a cool guy :pimp

From what I have read ASC did the conversion. I just picked up a '92 today. Now I just have to get it home. Now I have TWO non-driveable 240s!

Where have you read? I dont know if its the same one because this one was done by Heavy Throttle. Two non-drivable 240s... my father and I put you to shame, between the two of us at my parents house we have my 70 bug, a Bradley GTII, a 66 delux vw micro bus, a 71 porsche 911, and a 71 Triumph bonneville that are currently not on the road. At least the bug and the bradley run. My bradley project was put on hold because of college, it has a custom built performance vw engine in it with 7/10's of a mile on it in the last 5 years:ylsuper

I am going to get a 6 point cage installed in mine after the suspension goes in. Probably some time in the next few months. I will post the results .

IIRC the S13 silvia vert was sold in Japan for a brief period and were made by otech (i belive like this is to nissan like karmann is to VW). They were expensive as hell over $30,000USD in 1991 money (thats more than the S-15vert cost in 1999 money), and very rare. Buy that convertable for $300 thank the person for making you the luckiest bastard in the world, and go order a complete s-13 Silvia front clip. Then you can pimp JDM style in a car that is rare as hell even in Japan. I remember seeing a s-13 sivlia vert selling in Japan for more than a R33 GTR recently.
