Whats up Nico, having a frustrating day in the garage.
I pulled the stock driveshaft, to install my aluminum shaft. I should have known something was up, when it was difficult to get the old shaft out. But I proceded anyway, and got it out. THe shaft the was in the car was obviously forced in to the trans, and pushed in to place. For some reason the s14 shaft didnt fit in to the s13 SR trans, so I looked at it. The SR trans has splines the whole way around the input shaft, and the shaft has splines the whole way exept two groves.
This is when I figured they used an auto shaft in the 5 speed trans, so I tried my shaft in my spare KA 5 speed trans....and it fit perfect.
Why wont this fit in to the sr trans, Is it because its a s13 trans?
If I get no answers, I guess I will swap the ka trans in with the sr bellhousing. But this is my last resort...
Someone please help me....I need to drive this car!

Ok was reading up on this all night, and Ive read the shaft doesnt fit all the way in to the trans. It is supposed to stick out an inch or two....But my one piece shaft doesnt even fit into the space from the diff to the trans, any suggestions. Please
