s13 sr block with s14 sr head

like it says will it work i understand vvt wont work any more becuae the lack of oil passage in the block for it but will everything else work the only reason im doing this is because i need a new head and i can get a good deal on a s14 head so any help would be great

I'm 99% certain you'll have an oil leak where the head's VVT oil galley is. The oil galley hangs halfway open past the S13's block casting.

the VVT head will make it leak...the block castings ARE different
