S13 speed limiters

So where do they kick in? I'd hate to get to the track and find out that I can't get up to speed.

my '89 sohc cuts off at about 115mph. sux bad. i'm trying to find out the esiest way to cut the limiter but still use the speedo.

The highest I got my 93 up to was 125mp it sucked becouse I lost to a SRT. I now have a 95 240sx and I' getting ready for an engine swap.

Stock limit is around 112-115. I took mine off. I've hit 5.6k rpms on the freeway. I lay a newer 325ci to waste

Not sure of the top of my head right now (it's late here) but i believe it's just 1 wire to cut that's going to the ECU. Do a few more searches for it and you'll find it.

on s13 models you can use an automatic ecu and the rev limiter geos away

for dohc it's ecu pin 32. should be a yellow wire with green stripe.Has worked on 3 cars so far..... stock limit is at 117mph
