S13 Speaker Questions

I just bought (2) Sony Xplod 6.5 for the front and (2) 6 x 9's for the back. Question is, will the 6x9's fit in the back without modification? I currently dont have my car at my house, so this is why I am asking here. And I heard that the 240sx's came with an "active speaker" system. Can anyone enlighten me on that? I hear there is a stock amp, where is it, and how much power can it handle. I am relatively new on the subject of car audio as you can tell.

Is the car a coupe or hatchback? If it's an HB, I'm sure you can find somewhere to mount the 6x9's in the back, if it's a coupe I doubt it based on what I've heard from others.

There's few threads about the active speaker system, a quick search should turn up some good info. Are you replacing the HU, cause it doesn't ahve any power and without replacing it you can't remove the existing amps from the system.
