s13 sohc to s14 dohc HELP

i have a 90 s13 that i recently swapped a 95 s14 ka24de into at the moment it cranks but isnt starting. it is getting fuel and power to everything so i believe it isnt getting spark i know there are a lot of threads on this same thing but i cant find anything on the power transister unit. the ptu from my sohc is still in the car and the ka24de came with a different one but the connectors are completely different, but everywhere i look says the ptu on the 95 ka24de is built in which i dont understand bc mine has one. please help! i need it running within 2 days. and if anyone has a diagram for the wiring of the 90 ptu vs the 95 that would help a lot, thanks in advance -Andre

open ur ECU and see if it isnt blown, it happened to mine when i did that swap

how do i kno if its blown or not?

May need to answer which way you are running the '95 engine. Using S13 DOHC wiring and ECU? Or all '95 stuff?

s14 ecu with a custom harness made for this swap

Then the '95 should be using the S14 distributor setup (which is internal coil/etc). Did you get the '95 engine from someone that was using the engine in a S13 already? That would explain if they had switched to a S13 distributor setup.

no sir cane right out of an s14 with all original s14 parts
