s13 sohc bogging out and low oil pressure need help please

I have a 1990 s13 with a SOHC.

when i rev the gas it hesitates than revs but after 2k rpms it bogs down and sounds like the intake is poping. It ticks very loudly i think its the lifters. the low oil pressure light was on but I changed the filter and it is now off also but still ticks loud checked. I have also checked the timing with a light and its perfect has brand new plugs and wires also.

Anyone have any ideas?

sound like you flipped a couple of plug wires. it will idle good but when give gas it will bog or loose power if you were driving. recheck the spark plugs wire sagain. find the 1 cylinder on your cap then it go counter clockwise in order 2-3-4. i bet that is all. but your ticking noise is hard to say with an oil circulation problem. oil pickup maybe clogged or one or many oil passages is plugged. this don't look good for you. be prepared for a new motor if the misfire is not causing all your problem. ya i have checked the wires over and over i think its a timing issue as far as the oil goes ill just have to run some diesal through it to see if i can clean it out i have 2 xtra motors for parts as well so its not a big deal ill just have to figure it out.

i think ill buy new lifters also.
