Hmmmmm, ive been dealing with CA's and never came accross a "Green Top" , ill have to look into it, but as far as i know most people just paint the valve covers instead on leaving the original burgandy paint

Looks like the hood won't even shut. The intake manifold doesn't fit so well.

I've also never heard of a "green top" CA

Somehow I take issue with the hood not fitting, the engine looking iffy, the awful spoiler, the iffy rear end, not squeaky clean interior, and... well... I dunno, it is an '89, so I'm not sure if the 4 lug distinction existed... in fact I believe they were all 4 lug, so I can't comment there.

Overall, it looks like someone did a Silvia conversion with some other stuff and some badging and called it a Kaira. Oh, and check out that massive blockage where the grille would be. Wouldn't Kaira try to increase the cooling capablities?

I'd be doubtful of the authenticity of any "JDM elite" vehicle you see on ebay. A true collectors car (as that should be) should be sold through other avenues. The low % and private feedback don't help.

Aside form those things, I've always been a sucker for a silvia FE'ed S13 coupe .

That's a nice car but I'm going have to call shanigans at this point. I'm going to do research though.

OK...I compared the Silvia to a TK Fairlady Z and the mods seems to be inline with each other for the most part. The plastic between the intake runners on the Z is green and I zoomed in on the authenticity plate and it had type m18 but it looks like it's done by a handheld engraver compared to the m30z. If this is a fake, then this guy did some research and probably spent a lot of cash but I'm still going to call shanigans.lol Here's the site---http://www.neuralmotion.com/m30z/photos.htm

It's been on ebay too many times for it not to be a real car...last time it was a Florida owner.

It's changed hands a BUNCH of times, there has to be something wrong with it..

that car again? Saw that a million times on ebay. Actually, the first I saw that car was on a trailer. From behind I thought it was a riced out older integra because of the wing. Drove closely and noticed its RHD and it has the Tommy Kaira stickers. The truck was also carrying another silvia....far better looking than that one posted.

it's real.was originally brought in at AutoConxion, here in Long Beach.it was then sold to somebody in Florida i think. the trailer that was carrying this car, as well as 2 other s13 silvias, actually caught fire before it arrived. both other s13s were destroyed completly, but the Tommy Kaira didnt get touched. one of the other s13s was REALLY nice. fully tuned drift car. VERY VERY NICE. too bad it's trash now.as far as being a green top, easy, Tommy kaira company painted the cover green. just like Tomie paints it's motors blue, Jun does them green and yellow, etc.

so, yeah it's a real car, and it's pretty neat.

Based on the other posts, it appears to be "real".

As for the reason I'd say it's changing hands so often is everyone thinks they can get it street legal, or they think they know some way around the system and can get tags for it. Not sure about everyone else, but it wouldn't takle long ebfore I'd want as much of my money back out of the super cool car sitting in the garage that I can't tag/drive.
