a diff with the yokes still in it. There should be an extra set of holes in the subframe for the wider spread of the R200 studs and the existing halfshaft flanges should mate to the R200 yokes. Now I did this on a Silvia so you should look under the 240 to confirm this, it could be different but I would be suprized if it was.

You need the rear pumpkin and the output shafts (aka yokes).

hey i'm in the same situation... i jsut bought an LSD off a 180sx and i'm in the process of trying to figure out how to install it... what do i need to put it in? and can a average perosn be able to install it? or i should bring it to a shop? also if i was to look for a pumpkin with the yokes where would i find such a part?

Anand (Black240) just installed a VLSD on his 240sx yeaterday, he said he'd do a write up and post it soon, so I'd suggest checking back in the general section for 240s, as that's probably where he'll stick it :)

i installed a whole jdm rear subframe wth lsd in my 90 hatch by myself on the ground, a buddy will help tremendously, i know some jdm rear ends have diffrent bolt patterns for the axles than us spec, which is why i put the whole subframe in, it really isn't that hard to do just need a jack to put the rear end up and take the old one out..very straight forward
