s13 silvia hood vs s13 fastback hood

Anyone know if the latch part( or wutever u call it thats in the front of the hood) is in the same location for the s13 silvia and fastback? If thats the same location for both cars..then i'm gonna buy a fiberglass fastback hood since they're easier to come by, and modify it to fit on the s13 silvia. Thanx

Are you going to do the body work yourself? If not, its probably going to cost abot the same. Besides, you can get a nice CF hood from VIS for $650, shipped. (For the S13 Silvia)

Oh, and it only weighs 15 lbs.

thanx for the replies. Yes, I'm going to do the bodywork myself. Wel..i was hoping to get a really cheap OEM style fiberglass hood for the fastback and doing the carbonfiber myself since i'm familiar w/ the composite work. Cheap as in around 300 or less or even used. I have a friend that owns a shop and he might be able to hook it up...and i know that the fastback hoods are a lot easier to come by then the silvias(in the U.S). 700 bux for a hood is kinda steep for me...
