s13 silvia front end.. having problems shutting hood.

When I shut my hood it looks like **** on my car. Does it sound like I need more body work or is it because I have a ka24de in there instead of an sr? Im wondering if its hitting the hood or what..

If you think the hood is hitting the engine, try it out and make sure by putting something wet, like a paper towel on top of the engine cold, close the hood, re open it, and check for water on the hood. If this is not the case, maybe you need a spacer of some sort to better angle the hood.

i had the same problem i had to trim up my hood latch a little bit
