I'm lookin to pop the Silvia front end on my 240 and I was hoping you guys could answer some questions for me.1) is the Silvia front end pretty much bolt on or am I gonna have to do some modifications, and if so what kind?and 2) my friend said he could hook me up with a silvia veilside kit from japan and I'm wondering if an aftermarket silvia bumper will bolt on just the same as the stock one would.

Thanks guys!

welcome to nico well, i am not an s13 owner myself but from what i have read i think you just need to change the bumper mounts from usdm to JDM mounts, in order for your bumper to fit properly. Then i believe it is bolt on from there, but maybe someone else will back me up. I am not sure about your second ?, but hopefully someone else can help. Do a search, the button in the top right corner, it becomes a best friend for the There is so much to learn from this site, so be sure to search! well, i hope i helped and good luck with your ride

Wiring the lights will be the worst part.

Changing the bumper support and putting on JDM headlight brackets is all that needs to be done, everything else should bolt on.

Yes aftermarket Siliva stuff will bolt on after everything else is done.

wiring is the easy part. for the head light, you use the stock pop up light connecto, and for the bumper lights just plug and play, and take the side front fender light, the ones that are on the front lower side of the fender, (the ember color light), and put the socket on the corner lights and the orange part of the corner light, that suppuse to be turn signal light, so just wire that up to the bumper lights, and you should be fine, if you need more help let me know,

everything fits where the original USDM stuff is, make sure u get the JDM bumper support, i heard the USDM one doesnt work properly and also its way lighter too. headlights is just plug and play, u might need to splice together the corner lights though. i would suggest getting the two brick headlights instead of the projectors..i have the dual projectors with the fogs working and its very bad visiblity, also the projector bulbs are H3C which are japanese only bulbs, they dont exist here while the brick headlights use H3, we have those.

Do the projectors only work with H3C bulbs or can you sorta retrofit it to use another bulb? or perhaps even HID?

the "bricks" or non projectors use H4 bulbs unless ur talking about the inside fog lights which i am not sure of yet cuz i haven't connected them but the main outside headlights use h4 bulbs, i bought some PIAA plasma bulbs and they look just dead sexy, lighting is great at night but you have to make sure the housings are clean cuz mine were dirty and my right headlight reflector didn't work at all but its fine now and the lights work perfectly

H3's they aren't hard to find at all, we'll maybe at autozone or something, try taking a trip to superautobacs, they have every illegal bulb and lighting feature you can think of lol my friend has the same bulbs i have on his dual projectors but theyre h3's instead of h4's as long as ur headlights are adjusted properly you should have no problem with visibility
