s13 silvia face bumper support conversion

anyone whos done an s13 popup face to a silvia face conversion, what did you need to do to get the bumper supports to fit the new body panels? the only info i can find says you just have to increase the notch and drill a new holebut it doesnt look like just that will make it fit.

i will be grinding and cutting pretty soon to get the FMIC on, and i would like to get the bumper back on in the process (my intercooler came from a chaser... not going to be quite as easy to mount it)
