i dont care if you steal option pics, i'd just wear a shirt that had option on it rather than a generic name you came up with. bootleg option logos and put them on shirts, then i might be interested

while i was working at my internship, i had the opportunity to make photoshop designs, i designed a Silvia shirt, the emblem is on front and i have images of Silvias' S12 thru S15 (my fav's) on the back, not to mention i designed myself a Final Fantasy X shirt.

went to my local print shop, had them press it on, and voila' for $15 each i had some cool shirts! ( i have previous shirt with a Impreza P1 on it too)

Of course now they're saying they were undercharging me the whole time and say next time it will be $22 per shirt, sux for them tho' because that's all i wanted --won't be coming back

to make a point, not everyone drifts, ( i like my car in 1 piece)

i would rather have a cool autoX t-shirt or something

anyone know where to get one?

I did use Option's picture. I never denied that the car wasn't from Option's website. So don't even jump on this train saying that it's an Option's design and I shouldn't be using it. I only used the picture of the car. The concept design is my idea, and I created it.

It's the best looking s13 Silvia's picture around. I liked it and used it for my t-shirt's design. I believe the saying goes something like this..."Imitation is the highest form of flattery." If anyone think that me ripping off Option, by using the picture of the s13 in my design is wrong, should think about this....why do you want JDM parts for your 240sx? Why do you want to make your 240sx into a Silvia? Why do you drift? Aren't you imitating a culture that was founded by Japanese car enthusiast? My answers: They're the best. I love Silvias. Wouldn't do anything else with my 240sx. Yes. My reason, I don't want my car to have neons under it, and no wing that will cause my car to lift off if I drive faster than 55 mph.

I love Option videos! Watching those videos is the one thing that got me hooked on drifting...hence the reason for me to start this company. My intent for the company is to give drifters an apparel that they can wear to express their love. Or would you rather wear an "APC" t-shirt? Support something that doesn't demise the import enthusiast - Four Star Drift. You will not find any Civic w/ a large aluminum wing on any of my designs. I'll actually do this, send me some GOOD pictures of your car(s) - in action - and I'll use it in one of my design.

I do support the joe-everybody's car drifting, and making a sweet shirt design around that. connects more with the "drift crowd" rather than professional drifters...cause thats what yer goin for right?

I agree imitation is flatery, but not when it comes to plagerism like you are doing. if you had your own personal silvia and put your company sticker on it then its all good. however the option cars are being sponsored by them so they recieve the sticker...i highly doubt option called you up and said "hey use this wallpaper and put your name on it!"If you emailed option and asked them for use of the picture for consumer purposes (which you did not do) then it would be a whole different story.

Plagiarism is using someone else's work and calling it your own. Think the key here is that I never denied the picture of the s13 is not an Option wallpaper. Again, to repeat myself, I only used the picture because it's the best lookin s13 in action. And the fact that no one around my area has a good lookin s13 Silvia. I don't believe I've ever call the car "the Four Star Drift Silvia." In imitating Option, I put my company's logo in its location.

If you really want to debate about the whole idea of plagiarism, then we can spend hours on the topic. However, it's your ideas agains mine, and everyone has a right to their opinion/point-of-view. I believe in the concept that the world revolves around the extension of good ideas....meaning using an good idea from someone else and making it better, or making it different. And if we all think that "copying" is bad then the world wouldn't be where it's at....the creation of the car is an extension of the creation of the wheel. Whether you believe it or not it's still an art form to use an extension of someone else's design. Some people might think that it's not creative, while others do.

Four Star Drift is all about supporting the everyday car drifters, whether you're doing it in a piece-of-crap car, or a pimped out ride....as long as you're drifting, it's all good.

maybe yer not seeing where I come from. When i download mp3s, I dont send them to my friend's saying, hey, listen to what I made!

You rip it off, sure, yet you leave the owner's name intact.

If you made some rip off t-shirts with big OPTION DRIFTING or something, with option cars, hey, i'd be interested!

But to photochop out option's windshield decal and putting your own in there is like (to continue your analogy) taking a song you downloaded and putting your name as the artist.

Make a shirt that says like: Drifting is an OPTIONor something. and have the option logo, and option cars. that would be sweet. go ahead, use it, free of charge, you may sell a shirt.

bootleg option, just give them credit.
